- The works are located along the existing Kisumu – Chemelil – Muhoroni (C674) Road, starting at the intersection 1km towards Chemelil Roundabout from Miwani and passing through Muhoroni and terminates at its intersection with A12 near Kaitui. The total estimated length of the main project road is approximately about 23km. Also the construction of following feeder roads, Muhoroni- Songhor Road, approximately 14km long and Junction C35 – Koru Center link road and Koru loop/spur roads, approximately 5.5Km long. Total road length – 42.5 km long.
- The sections project road traverses a fairly level terrain and straight alignment, level and rolling terrain with gentle curves, and mountainous with moderate radius curvature in Kisumu, Nandi, and Kericho, counties respectively and works include a carriageway width of 7m and 2m wide shoulders with 10/14mm single seal surface dressing on the carriageway and double seal of 14/20mm and 6/10mm to the shoulders.
