The works comprise upgrading of roads in Meru county headquarters along Imenti Forest Edge linking to Meru Bypass Road and within Meru Town approximate length of 13 km and works include 50mm Asphalt concrete surfacing throughout the main carriageway and shoulder, with a 150mm Cement Improved base, 175-200mm Cement Improved subbase and a 425mm of natural material improved subgrade Road pavement
