The road is located in Kiambu County traversing Juja and Thika Town Constituencies. It is about 25km in length. It commences at Salama (Ma Store) and then proceeds to Juja Farm. It then takes a left towards Kwa Murage. The road then takes a sloping terrain with rock outcrops towards Komo it takes a left and continues to terminate at Githima on Munyu – Githima -Kongo’ki road. There is also an access to Athi Market which is approximately 2 km. and works include 50mm Asphalt concrete surfacing with a carriageway of 6.5m and 0.5m shoulders on either side, with a 150mm Cement Improved base, 175-200mm Cement Improved subbase and a 425mm of natural material improved subgrade Road pavement
